What is your creativity practice..... continued

Dwellings, 12x12', oil and cold wax on panel, $395

Quiet is very important to me but I share a studio with 3 other artists and my studio is located in the River Arts Districts in Asheville, NC so we have visitors a lot of the time.  Quiet time is at home much of the time in reading daily biblical devotions, walking the dog, or just being quiet.  After that I am ready to get into the thick of things.

I don't know if its a ritual but since my "studio" is shared by my computer and other tech items I have to clear up and move things about before I can start painting.... This morning I gessoed some cardboard formats for my work shop... I find preparations clears my mind for creativity...
