Fall Challenges

This Fall has been challenging. I have had to be out of town to tend to an aging parent. This breaks up the thought process and completion of work! I feel very blessed that I have gotten several new pieces completed. As all of us know consistency is the key to all skills whether it is building muscles, writing a book, knowing the right spice for the special dish for Thanksgiving.

Today I will step back into the studio with a 2 week absence. I can not wait!!! I keep plodding along and feeding my soul. I think this period in my life will prove to be important to my work at some point. I truly believe all things work together for a purpose.

Walton/untitled( as of now), oil cold wax medium, 12x12 inches

Beautiful painting! I went back to the studio yesterday after a 1-week absence for a Thanksgiving trip, and let's just say that the flow is NOT flowing. Aaargh! Nuthin' to do but keep plodding away until it starts working again.
