Remembered Landscapes

My work is usually titled after it is completed. I carry with me remembered landscapes, light, color and emotion.  As I work through a painting I find those things revealed.

In "Skyward" I remember those amazing skies of my youth.  Laying on our backs and watching the world go by.  What do you see?

My paintings are titled after they are finished. I paint from remembered landscapes that I carry with me - and remembered feelings of them, which of course become transformed. I could certainly never mirror nature. I would more like to paint what it leaves with me.
