Art Scams with an Emotional Twist
We all know the art scam with the line " I am moving to Australia" and would like art for my new home.....etc. This person wants to pay by check and have the moving company pick up your art.
Well artist beware there is a new spin on this scam. The approach is much more emotional request to purchase for a gift for a loved one etc. Also, asking for inspiration for the work.
I will say these people have good taste in art. They always choose some of my best work:) Here is the painting of choice this week for the art scammers:
