Creating a New Series

Many artists work in series.  In other words to create art work that has a common thread.  Either compositional, theme, color, certain materials, etc.  I have recently been looking for a new common theme in my work and I am not quite sure I have come up with anything.  I have thought about "white paintings", lose the horizon line, keep the horizon line, leave the cold wax, try works on paper and on and on.  I feel like I am spinning.  The "series" concept gives me grounding and a mission.   Do many of you feel the same?

 So, this is the blog theme for awhile.  I enjoy input and ideas and I will send info on to you all.
