Sometimes I have to paint no matter what. The other day I painted on a bunch of 12x12" boards that I had used as demos that needed to be painted over. I didn't want to think I just wanted to paint. I said, " Ah ha"and grabbed a fat "Olive Yellow" pigment stick from R&F and made a go at just painting. Mostly pigment sticks were used and boy what fun.
Our studio's are open to the public in the River Arts District in Asheville, NC so to get this kind of time and quite I locked the door in the late afternoon. Sometimes a girl just has to paint and not care what the out come will be.
P.s. Johnny Cash was playing nice and loud.
