Visual Word exhibition

A collaborative exhibition took place the middle of August.  My friend and poet Laurie McCarrier, composed a Haiku (5 verses which was allowed) to accompany my paintings "Uncharted".
Uncharted, oil and cold wax on panel, 10x10", framed , $300
UNCHARTED

uncharted quiet
memory, hidden stories
wishing to be told

textural surface
what’s underneath reappears
waiting to be seen

slow river current
buried inside layers, scratched, scraped
wanting to be touched

anticipation
paint tubes open, brushes dipped
floating memories

water reflection
color, depth, transformation
paint tells the story
