Evolution of a cold wax painting 2

As I was thinking about the evolution of this paintings I did want to give a little insight.  At the beginning I did know where I was wanting to proceed with this work.  I have been exploring this color palette for some time and I wanted to try out what I have been learning on a larger level.
I continue to push and pull the warm cool balance through out the painting. With all these bold colors its always a little overwhelming.
Horizonscape, 30x55" can be viewed at Gallery 17 in Greenville, SC

The finished painting seems quiet from this image but when you are able to view the painting in person there is a lot of push/pull.  In the end the history of my marks communicates with the viewer.
