I have been shuffling paintings around different display areas/galleries and came across work prior to my present style and it has been interesting to see how the work has progressed.
Presently featured at Riverview Station at Gallery 310 are paintings from the "light play" series.
The painting featured here was titled Ode to the Tee Shirt. But over time the shapes have begun looking like popcorn. So the new title is Popcorn. The series focused on light playing on the human form. This painting takes the human form away and focuses on just the object of the tee shirt on the model (my daughter Detchon)
